Hubungan Etnik Coursework 2009 (Title 4) PLKN

Attention to those who had selected the "Keberkesanan Program Latihan Khidmat Negara dalam usaha memupuk semangat perpaduan antara kaum" title for the Hubungan Etnik subject , anyone here want to share their thoughts with me as me and my team members got that title as well .........

Not really bro , all of us are just slightly above average ..... Anyone from L1 or L3 doing the PLKN topic for Hubungan Etnik coursework ? If yes , lets discuss here !

I love NS.
Hey, in NS got a program is Modul Kenegaraan.
We learn about different races, agama etc.

Then got one is Minggu Kebudayaan or what (I forgot the name).
We all join together learn about Sajak Puisi those, and perform it on stage.
We wear trad. cloths too. =)

Try add in those as points.

Modul Kenegaraan was fun.but quite boring,however,indeed ia-nya dapat memupukkan taat kepada negara and lebih memahami kaum-kaum lain. Walaupun BM saya lemah, tapi patut digunakan.

We had a lot of activities, marching, and outdoor event like camping, games and sport.
We had performed many times of traditional culture shows, the show must has included 3 to 4 races' cultures that will act or sing or dance, it was quite fun.I got lots of friends from other races from NS.(Myth re-correcting):Not every other races is stupid. In fact, I met lots of geniuses there.

so minta maaf sebab x boleh bantu apa apa~~~
tapi kalau nak dengar skit p'dapatan I rasa i boleh geh~~~

Why didn't you volunteer then ? You could contact them to allow you to attend the training program .....

I heard most of them complained at first when they were selected . After attending the program , they took their words back and tell us it is fun !

I think ' Since they had experienced PLKN, there's no point anymore to keep say its negative, so instead of saying negatively, they say positive words so that they will feel better than worse.'

Lols, or else perhaps they really felt the fun in PLKN

But by the way, in order to join PLKN, we need sacrifice lots of things, such as hairs, family, etc.
And most discussed case said that PLKN has lots of ghosts, lots of people got cursed from activity in PLKN.
Some girls got raped by mates during PLKN, and most people came back from PLKN aren't happy at all, because they need to leave their friends, not that they missed the activity in PLKN...

Do you really think the activity in PLKN attracts people?

People think that PLKN is good because can meet NEW FRIENDS, not that because of activity, those activities we can do in certain place also...

Lets do comparison..

If u urself 1 person doing the activity all the time in PLKN.. You will sure feel boring, right?
If big group of friends doing the activity all the time in PLKN... You will feel happy...

And thus PLKN had stimulated in your happiness with friends, so whenever we talked about PLKN, you will say PLKN's activities are fun for sure...

So in conclusion, PLKN is no good

For being rape, ghosts cases is actually due to the person themselves.

The girls just wear the tuala when finish bath or do something that inapporiate, that's why it make the guys feel to rape them. Actually, we are warned by the teachers there for not do so, just that they never listen.

Ghost, actually we have the ghost rules there. If you listen to the teachers there, do what you should, you will be safe. Most of them kena is because they are not obey to the rules, for example shout at midnight.

Even the medical cases, actually PLKN gave a lot of cares and medical facilities. If you have a little sickness, the teachers won't force you to join the practices. Just that, those people thought they were strong, and it is nothing, then they do not report to the teachers. At last, they died because did not get the treatment at the right time.

When something happened, they just blame others but not themselves.

Err... Anyway, it just what I've see in my camp. =)

Modul Kenegaraan, Modul Fizakal, Modul "Character Building" (BM I forgot call what)

- Listen to Malay song in class... (learned bout malays culture)
- They stay together with different races in a room or dorm
- They trained together, competitions need teamwork (eg. Kawad, Kayak)
- Language
- Food there (Malay Food)
- Every weekend, we learn bout our own agama (Christian went to church, Indian - Kuih, Buddhist - Temple)
