well guys, since most of us r taking counselling here, let's discuss some here.. (note*there'll be no "KFC" that will be discusses.. lmao )

all rite, as far as we all are aware of, economic is getting worse from time to time, all fields are being affected, from tourism to food industries.. chances of getting hired is getting thinner and of coz the competition is far more different frm how it was several years back then, before the major change in the global economic.

counselling or wat we can call as verbal therapy is considered as a new career that is introduced to the society nowadays, especially in malaysia..

so let's us share our opinion on how will our future in counselling or any field that is related to it in the coming years..
wat choices will we all hav to expand our career, especially in the global economic crisis?
how will we achieve it?
does pursuing our dream is equal to being realistic?

Undoubted Agree, as Counseling or Psychology is studies of Human Thought and Mind and Behavior and Feeling (General Definition of Psychology), we know better than anyone( profession) what customer (or client or demands,ect.) wants and expert in Research. Besides, in late few years(I don't know how many yearss) in many countries(unfortunate,not in this country yet), Insurance company already started to accept claim for Insurance package for seeing counseling and psychological therapy. Furthermore, the world is getting sicker and so do the community and people, insurmountable stress has forced people to insanity.(I like to exaggerate,huh)

There is a huge demand for this field.
Please widen/open you mind, THINK GLOBAL.

*According the lecturer/professor from HELPU I attended his last Psychology Talk, Psychology course is the 2nd HARDEST of course to get into.
*Based on my friend(He's mid-forty now), He worked as 2 times Sale-Executive, Personal Officer, Store Manager, Education Counseler, and now he'd dropped his job and opened a Tuition Centre.

Here's what I think ....... Economies crisis now , people got fired , people loses their jobs , people felt stress , people go for counselling ....... So we help our clients ....... Is that right ? So we (the future counsellor) may have our uses in the society in the future .......

Now tis time many ppl get 神经病 liao ~~~~~
So our job is to hlp pull them from the Hell ~~~~ Jesus

And yea... people now days tends to runaway from their true self....
after going through a lot.... i too am still struggling to face myself....

u dont have to b a buddhist to say JESUS ..but pls...if u don mean it ..don say it...it may offend lots of ppl..including me....tq for understanding

You can say/speak whatever you want.. believe what you want. It is completely your choice. Nobody can tell you what to believe. Religion is free and open to everyone. It's non-selfish, with only can say by their follower. Personally, I am Wiccan and Pagainism but I believe in many Buddhist principles and like the idea of reincarnation. It doesn't mean I necessarily think it is true.. but it is nice to imagine, to think, to behave in yourself in more positive ways...

You don't have to be strictly one religion, and many religions are very similar in their beliefs (ex: be good and honest, be kind to your neighbors, don't not murder, steal, lie, etc.) anyway.
You don't have to be white to speak English.

There is No One Universal God/Philosophy. Everyone claims that their religion is true and the original one. Believe in what you want, just do what makes you feel comforted in your existence.

P.S; But still, though say God name by not meaning it is rude, but it's not prohibit by most of the religion. (Only one religion prohibit, Islam from Malaysia, outside from Malaysia, you're free to yell the A word god's name.)

Follow what your sacred writing is written, and you'll find your god.
Do not limit yourself, EXPLORE is the word.

To agree that saying Jesus in public is right or common thing or To disagree that We are buddhist, we should say amitabha, we are christian and we should say jesus, and we are islam and we should say Ya Allah?

And in my opinion, I dun think that there is a problem in saying god's name..even if we anyhow say it out, only it could be offence when only u speak jesus in some place right Mosque, Temple, etc.
That is just a piece of opinion, if u guys really felt offended, I help Yee to apologise here and now..

Not a debate, we are free to post any opinion here right? Just try to point out some blind points, of pros and cons, I'm neutral. white and black, light and dark. No offense.

I didn't view your points from only 1 side.., but based on your statement

And we are here discussing about christian god, not malay god, and Yee didn't say A god's name.

Yea I did said about A god's name, but I tot I was asking a question? Is there a problem even if I add malay god's name in a question? A question is asked on purposed, not kind of non-sense.

Since you so cared about malay's cultures, believes, etc. Then why did you still consider that A god's name a WORD??

Actually what i said has little things to do with religions...what i trying to say here is that u dont simply pop out a JESUS name in some other topics as if it is nothing...you guys were talking about economics all that right??does economics got anything to do wif JESUS's name???

i think that the chill here is getting heat up =)

hmmm, frm my own point of view,
it is understandable that some terms/statements that we used might offend others although we do not mean to..
this is mainly bcoz that different ppl possess different perspective view and different meaning might be misunderstand if we do not make our stand clear=)

for example, the term of god's name, actually can and cannot be used at some points.. sensitive issue such like religion, gender, politics and so on,we really need to think carefully b4 we voice out our opinions as we might offend others indirectly..

so every1, let's be careful of our tone and terms =)

and pls take note that when we're giving opinions, respecting each others' opinion will make the flow go smoothly here.. there's no such thing as " exact answer" or "perfect opinion" when we're giving comment based on an opinion-topic.. but, we can actually learn more by taking others' opinion as reference and take some points based on useful information tat u think it is to u =)

this is the main reason y i m setting up an opinion-topic.. to learn n to observe how others think and view =)
